Dear Family I am 22 years old and I am a qualified nanny for children aged from newborn to 7 years. I have qualifications for child care and also in first aid and food hygiene. I am a driver with a full license. I am looking to live my dream in New Zealand with a family that is willing to have me as their nanny. Part of my dream is to nanny for twins or newborns because I love to see them grow in their own special way from birth and it’s such an achievement to see them develop and know you’ve helped them. I have worked with twins and newborns before. The twins were 6 months old when I started and now that I have finished they are at school. I help the mother out and I also had them on a sole charge. I lived with the twins when I was working in a nursery as well so I got to see them grow!! We took the twins swimming quite a bit as well as you need two people when you have twins. I have also worked as a nanny for a 4 month old baby and helped her develop for example I helped her crawl, walk, talk, eat independently, got her in to a routine etc. I have been working as a nanny for a little girl who is 16 months old. When I started she was 4 months old. We used to go off to the park and feed the ducks, go to playgroups, go to the zoo, meet up with other children her age, play at home, read books, dance to music, play in the garden, go on walks. I used to get her dress and give her a breakfast and give her tea and put her in her pyjamas as the parents would leave early and come back late. I would plan activities around her routine and if we had a group on. I also took her to the doctors to have her injections!! During my time there the child learnt to crawl, walk and talk!! She was a really happy child!! I have also spent sometime with twins!! I went there as part of my college course where we spend 2 weeks as a live in nanny. I enjoyed this experience so much that I looked after the boys now and then when the mother needed to go off somewhere!! When I finished college I went and lived with them and looked after the boys during the day while the parents were at work. I really enjoyed this and then started looking for a full time position. So I went and worked in a nursery. I was given twins as my key children which was brilliant to see how very different they are and how each develops at their own pace. So I am ideally looking for a job in New Zealand with twins or a newborn baby as I just love looking after them. I have been to New Zealand this year and have enjoyed it so I have decided that I want to work and possibly live out there. I have family in New Zealand and some more are moving out as they have just got there working permit through. I have been to New Zealand House and have got my working holiday visa. My flight is book for 21st August 2009.
