Kristina Paterson formed New Zealand Nannies International out of her wealth of experience with children. She is Aunt to eight nieces and nephews since the age of 12, and has cared for children in various settings as a Sunday School Teacher, Youth Worker at her local church and children's camps from a young age. She is now a proud godmother to one lovely eight year old boy. Kristina has experience working as a nanny herself for four years, as well as working in childcare centres. She has been a Registered Nurse for more than 11 years, including nursing children at Starship Hospital. With a Nursing Diploma and a recently completed Diploma specialising in Youth, Kristina offers unique expertise to both parents and nannies. Recognising some of the gaps through her own experience with working with other nanny agencies has provided a foundation for some of the wonderfully personal and unique service that New Zealand Nannies International offers. All motivated out of a genuine love of children, Kristina provides a service that values families and values those who care for children. The level of Kristina's commitment to caring for children goes as far as committing a minimum of two years helping orphaned children in Romania. All proceeds of this agency goes towards that work.
