Need A Supernanny?

In the television series ‘Supernanny' starring Jo Frost, we soon realise that she is not the classic nanny coming to care for children while parents work.  In fact, using her vast experience and childcare skills, she passes on her expertise to parents and the result is a transformed family.  Skeptical?  Or wishing you had a Supernanny like Jo?

Actually, many of Jo Frost's techniques are useful and helpful to families, and a ‘Supernanny' is available to you right here in New Zealand.

Kristina Paterson is a Registered Nurse with 14 years experience including Paediatric Nursing and Plunket Nursing.  Kristina has two Diplomas - one in nursing, and the other specializing in youth work.  In addition to this, she has years of personal and professional experience working with babies and children in a childcare centre and as a nanny.  She currently is expecting her first baby, due in November of this year.

Kristina will offer you two consultation appointments for up to 8 hours of her time.  Further follow-up appointments are available should you feel you need more help.  Kristina's initial consultation will be to discuss with you what the issues are, and to observe ordinary family life - watching those issues play out.  Kristina's second appointment will be to discuss a plan with you to resolve the issues that you've discussed and will assist you in carrying these out.

Whether it's sleep/bedtime issues, family conflict, behavioural issues - whatever the problem, Kristina can lend her expertise and assistance to help you sort them out whatever your children's ages.

Supernanny Charges

Two parent Income Family                             $80 per appointment (up to                                                                                                                                        4hrs/appointment)

One parent Income Family                             $60 per appointment (up to                                                                                                                                        4hrs/appointment)

Two parents with CSC*                                 $40 per appointment (up to                                                                                                                                        4hrs/appointment)

Solo parent with CSC*                                   $20 per appointment (up to                                                                                                                                        4hrs/appointment)
