Nannies & Au Pairs Register Free

In order to be registered with New Zealand Nannies International you will need the following:

  • A minimum of 6 months childcare experience  or a qualification in or related to the childcare field (or presently training in that field) is mandatory for Nannies and Babysitters. Childcare experience is preferable but not required for Au Pairs.
  • An up-to-date CV showing your child care experience and/or relevant qualifications (including current training). This CV is viewed by potential families registered with our agency. We do ask that you remove all contact details before uploading it.
  • A minimum of two references: a previous employer and a childcare reference (this may be a tutor if you are currently studying). We need email addresses for these references
  • A clean police record
  • Recommended but not a pre-requisite:  Having a current First Aid Certificate and uploading it to your profile as well as uploading any qualifications you might have, any relevant certificates and any written references you might have is an advantage and puts you ahead of other applicants.  If selected by one of our families, they may require you to attend a First Aid Course (if you have not completed one already, or your current certificate is outdated).
